RETURNS, REFUNDS & EXCHANGES POLICY

Our Commitment

At Healing Habits, we strive to provide high-quality health and wellness products to support our customers' wellbeing and healthy lifestyle choices. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we will do our best to assist you in accordance with South African consumer legislation and the terms below.


Cooling-Off Period for Online Purchases

In accordance with the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA), customers may cancel an online purchase within seven (7) days of receiving the goods.

To qualify for a return under this provision:

* The goods must be unused.
* The goods must be unopened and in their original packaging.
* The goods must be returned in a resaleable condition.
* Proof of purchase must be provided.

The customer will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods unless the return is due to an error on our part or a defective product.


Food Products

Due to health, hygiene and food safety regulations, the following products may not be returned or exchanged unless they are defective, damaged upon delivery, expired, or supplied incorrectly:

* Nuts
* Dried fruit
* Seeds
* Honey
* Oils
* Dairy products
* Fermented products
* Frozen products
* Perishable food products
* Any food product that has been opened

Healing Habits reserves the right to refuse returns where the integrity, safety or quality of the product can no longer be guaranteed.


Supplements, Vitamins, Minerals & Herbal Products

Supplements, vitamins, minerals, creatine, protein products, herbal remedies and similar health products may only be returned if:

* The product remains unopened and sealed.
* The packaging is undamaged.
* The return request is submitted within seven (7) days of delivery.

Opened products cannot be returned for health and safety reasons unless they are defective.


Skincare & Personal Care Products

For hygiene reasons, skincare, cosmetic and personal care products may only be returned if:

* The product is unused.
* The product remains sealed.
* The original packaging is intact.

Opened or used skincare products cannot be returned unless they are defective.


Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Goods

If you receive a product that is:

* Damaged during delivery;
* Defective;
* Expired; or
* Incorrectly supplied,

please notify Healing Habits within forty-eight (48) hours of receiving your order.

To assist us in resolving the matter promptly, please provide:

* Your order number;
* A description of the issue;
* Clear photographs of the product and packaging.

Upon verification, Healing Habits may, at its discretion:

* Replace the product;
* Exchange the product; or
* Issue a refund.


Defective Products

Where a product is found to be defective and falls within the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act, the customer may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund, subject to inspection and applicable legislation.


Return Conditions

Returned items must:

* Be accompanied by proof of purchase.
* Be returned in their original packaging where applicable.
* Include all accessories, instructions, inserts and promotional items supplied with the product.
* Be returned in a condition suitable for inspection.

Healing Habits reserves the right to reject returns that do not meet these conditions.


Refunds

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method wherever possible.

Refunds are generally processed within seven (7) to fourteen (14) business days after the returned goods have been received and inspected.

Shipping and delivery fees are non-refundable unless the return results from:

* A defective product;
* Damage during transit; or
* An error on the part of Healing Habits.


Exchanges

Exchanges are subject to stock availability.

Where the replacement product has a higher value than the original purchase, the customer will be required to pay the difference before dispatch.


Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned unless defective:

* Opened food products
* Opened supplements
* Opened vitamins and minerals
* Opened herbal products
* Opened skincare products
* Custom-made or special-order products
* Gift vouchers
* Clearance or sale items marked as Final Sale


Product Storage & Handling

Many of our products require appropriate storage conditions to maintain their quality and effectiveness.

Healing Habits cannot accept responsibility for products that deteriorate due to:

* Incorrect storage after delivery;
* Exposure to excessive heat or direct sunlight;
* Failure to refrigerate products where required;
* Improper handling by the customer after receipt.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that parcels are received promptly and stored according to the product instructions.

* Reason for the return
* Supporting photographs where applicable

Reservation of Rights

Healing Habits reserves the right to inspect all returned products before approving any refund, replacement or exchange. Returns may be declined where there is evidence of misuse, tampering, improper storage, accidental damage or use contrary to the product instructions.
